White Belt Training [ ]
The Lean Six Sigma White Belt training consists of 1 day of training and it is an introduction to Lean Six Sigma concepts.
This training is the first day of the Green Belt so students have the opportunity to continue on to the Yellow Belt, Green Belt, and the Black Belt. There are no prerequisites for the White Belt training, and Minitab is not required for this class.
Classroom courses start on Monday at 8:00 am through 5:00 pm. Webinar courses begin on Tuesday at 9:00 am (Central) through 3:00 pm (Central).

Learning Outcomes
- Acquire a basic understanding of Six Sigma and Lean tools and methods
- Gain an understanding of the phases of the Six Sigma methodology (DMAIC process)
- Introduce specific DMAIC concepts within each of the phases (define, measure, analyze, improve, and control)
White Belt attendees will be able to begin their journey toward the professional competencies of the Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Black Belt, and Master Black Belt. After obtaining this first-level belt, they can become a team member of a Green Belt or Black Belt project.
White and Yellow Belt are not prerequisites for Green Belt, you may enroll directly in the Green Belt certification training course if you expect to lead projects.
