The commitment required of an educational organization or business school to gain international accreditation is substantial, where the main purpose of accreditation is the improvement of academic quality and public responsibility. This ongoing means of quality control occurs usually every five to ten years. The process of accreditation can also be described as one of quality assurance that colleges, universities and educational institutions or trainers undergo in order to confirm that they meet a strict and globally recognized set of operational standards. 6Sigma.us is approved by four such globally renowned educational accreditation partners.
Lean Six Sigma accredited providers are by nature, recognized for upholding consistent, high-quality, and full-bodied training standards that are in alignment with international Accreditation Criteria. Consequently, 6Sigma.us’ accreditation partnerships represent globally recognized Lean Six Sigma standards. This means that 6Sigma.us is officially recognized as an authorized practitioner and/or provider of real Lean and Six Sigma standards.
Here follows a summary of 6Sigma.us’ accreditation partnerships. In the first instance, since March 03, 2023, 6Sigma.us is a GSA Multiple Award Schedule Contract holder for its training services. As a GSA accreditation partner, 6Sigma.us is able to offer special pricing to federal government agencies. 6Sigma.us has also been approved by the Project Management Institute to issue PDUs for courses. Consequently, 6Sigma.us has been reviewed and approved as a provider of project management training by the Project Management Institute (PMI). As a PMI Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.), 6Sigma.us has agreed to abide by PMI-established quality assurance criteria. 6Sigma.us is authorized to display the PMI R.E.P* logo prominently on the 6Sigma.us website. PMI has notably extended all accreditations until December 31, 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
6Sigma.us is likewise accredited since March 31, 2022, as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET®), and is consequently attributed to issue the IACET CEU. As an authorized partner of the IACET, 6sigma.us complies with the ANSI®/IACET® Standard, which is internationally recognized as a standard of excellence in instructive practices. IACET and CEU accreditation count for both live Six Sigma training and online training.
6Sigma.us is furthermore an accredited business since 9/15/2014 by the Better Business Bureau. BBB Accreditation Standards represent standards for business accreditation in the region of North America. These particular standards are based on BBB’s resolve to identify the qualities of ‘better businesses. By incorporating not only lawful business practices, but also their real-world experience with ethical advertising, selling, and customer experiences. The BBB sets the standard for business excellence. In order for a business to qualify for BBB Accreditation, it must continually meet these standards – as 6Sigma.us continually does.
