This is a new topic for me to learn, and overall I thought the material was excellent. It would be beneficial to have some videos of real world applications, such as when a manufacturing problem occurs in a steel mill and the root causes of the problem must be determined and a solution brought to the table.

Good course. You might want to provide some projects that the student can work on while taking this online course to better understand the material and get experience with the tools. Students might be assigned a project where they may not use some of these tools and having practice projects from 6Sigma.us would help them greatly.

I would love to have access to the audio explanation well after the course. There is a green belt in my dept though so they will be a great resource. Thank you for presenting the course in this manner so I didn't miss work-although I think the group work is probaby very helpful in the in-person courses.

Coming from a quialty improvement background (CQI) I thought this would be easier to follow. It was more difficult than I thought, translating PDSA to DMAIC etc, and might be easier to follow for someone with no other/similar background. My focus is the health industry, so I constantly need to translate pizza delivery failures to missed medical appointments etc. I am glad I started this course and look forward to the next steps.

Strugglingto understand the concept of rows with same failure mode having the same severity value. Highlighting that on the next slide "RPN Component Value Assignment" (107-48) would have been helpful to drive that point home/clarify how those values should be determined.
