Six Sigma Green Belt

Green Belts obtain a working knowledge of the Lean Six Sigma roadmap to lead projects, the week 2 session focuses on the analytical methods typically used for process optimization

Individuals with Six Sigma Green Belts work on simple process improvement projects. Usually, their job would require less than 50% of their time to be focused on Six Sigma projects. However, Six Sigma Green Belt roles and job requirements will vary between companies.

The Green Belt certification is ideal for those who will be tasked with improving existing processes. These could be processes that are not standardized or don’t have established metrics. Or, the organization could be looking to reduce errors or cycle time of those processes.

6Sigma.us offers an internationally recognized Green Belt training and certification program. As part of our four-week Black Belt option, our program may be taken alone or as the first step to earning your Black Belt. 6Sigma.us was the first organization to offer a program that allowed students with no prior experience to complete the Green Belt and Black Belt programs consecutively to earn an internationally recognized Black Belt certification.

At the end of this course, the attendees will:

• Acquire the knowledge obtained from the White, Yellow Belt, and Green Belt BootCamp
• Select Six Sigma projects
• Mobilize a Six Sigma team and organize its work
• Proficiently use statistical tools to analyze process metrics
• Complete Six Sigma projects by utilizing charts, process maps, prioritization tools, and control plans

There are no prerequisites for our Green Belt programs. Attendees will receive two certificates, one certificate for successfully completing the training and another certificate for successfully completing a live project, which will designate individuals as internationally-recognized Lean Six Sigma Green Belts.

We are accredited by IACET to offer CEUs, PMI® to offer PDUs, and SHRM to offer PDCs for our Green Belt for the successful completion of all training requirements. Green Belt Virtual Instructor-Led Training

The Green Belt Live Virtual Instructor-Led training is 8 Day (48 hours) over 2 months, delivered by one of our Master Black Belt instructors via Zoom.

Green Belt Online Training

The Green Belt Online training is approximately 40 hours. Attendees are provided with 1 year of access to complete the course at their own pace. This training is available 24 hours, 7 days a week.

The Green Belt Blended is a 8-week course that combines our proven self-paced training, individual homework assignments, and weekly live instructor-led sessions. The live sessions reinforce the concepts through practical exercises, group discussions, and QA with the instructor. We offer both morning and evening options to accommodate your schedule.

• This course helped reinforce a number of things I have learned over the years but didn't realize is was part of the Six Sigma process. Six Sigma provides tools and methodolgy for systematically improving processes by putting inplace measures to continually monitor for improvement. I am already using the tools in some of my work projects. I liked the way the course was laid out and the fact that you could go back and review modules when you might need a refresher. I'm sad about not having those modules available to me beyond the 1 year time limit. due to time constraints, I got a late start with the course work. However, I did purchase the course book and have my notes and on site black belt as a mentor.

• Excellent course! The explanations were clear, concise and to the point and the pace was comfortable to follow. The examinations covered the most important topics and served as a good reminder of these. Looking forward to continue with the Black Belt course soon. Two suggestions: (1) Make a case study of the entire Green Belt Process available to the student (it doesn't matter the topic, as long as the example covers well the elements of the GB project including inputs, analyses and outputs, reports, etc.) and (2) make the course available on a pdf file besides the hardcopy.
