The Green Belt In-Person & Virtual-Led Training and Certification course is conducted by one of 6Sigma.us’s experienced Master Black Belts the first week in Boston, MA (Green Belt BootCamp) and the second-week Virtual-Led (Green Belt Week 2). This program provides the tools to lead a DMAIC process improvement project that can focus on stability as well as optimization of a process.

Green Belt Certification

The Green Belt training and certification encompasses the Green Belt BootCamp and the Green Belt Week 2.

The Green Belt BootCamp In-Person is a four-day course and classes start at 8:00 am and no later than 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday at most locations. Concepts covered in the live training focus on the team-based tools that are typically used on Lean Six Sigma projects. These concepts can help individuals stabilize their processes.

Location: Boston, MA

Individuals intending to lead process improvement projects are encouraged to attend the Green Belt Week 2 virtually for the analytics tools. These concepts are typically used to optimize processes. The benefit of the virtual and online self-paced formats is the opportunity to review the recordings of the step-by-step process of running an analysis.

The Green Belt Week 2 Virtual-Led is a four-day course and classes take place Tuesday through Friday each day of training is 6 hours long, with breaks included, and is hosted on Zoom.

Course Time (given by each time zone):

  • 10 am – 4 pm (Eastern)
  • 9 am – 3 pm (Central)
  • 8 am – 2 pm (Mountain)
  • 7 am – 1 pm (Pacific)

There are no prerequisites for the Green Belt program. White BeltYellow Belt, and Green Belt BootCamp concepts are covered during this training.

Note: We recommend using the desktop version of Minitab software for Windows users. For Mac users, the web version of Minitab software is available.
Attendees will receive two certificates, one certificate for successfully completing the training and another certificate for successfully completing a live project, which will designate individuals as internationally-recognized certified Lean Six Sigma Green

The project is a real process improvement that the attendee chooses to implement for their current employer and requires them to put into action what they have learned. The certification for Lean Six Sigma is based on the attendee’s ability to apply the principles
to a real project. We will expect to identify a project to apply these concepts to for their certification.
