The black belt course provided more in depth understanding of the DMAIC process. The course equip the individual with better understanding, knowledge and tools to use the DMAIC process during projects. In fact, the black belt course provide a even beter understanding of the knowledge gained in the previous belts. The examples and excercises was very relevant and practical to the understanding and application for the method or tool to be used. The knowledge of the methods and tools learned is very useful in my career. The design of experiments for optimization in a statistical manner enables one to visualize the factors and their effects prior to implementation. The exposition of each step of the DMIAC process in the course with questions relating to each step highlights the requirements of each step with detail which is essential.
