Questions which need to be answered with a “Yes”:
1.
Does the measurement method (i.e. operator and instrument)
measure the dimension of the characteristic and follow the defined
measurement procedure?
2.
Does the instrument have a Resolution which is no more than one-
tenth of the total process variation?  For example, if the variation
within the characteristic is 0.05, can you “read” from the instrument a
change of 0.005?
